MOF DODGEBALL: Super, Major, Minor, Leisure, U16

 

Our national & multi-category challenge which only MOF offers!

To win our NATIONAL prize (available only to Super Dodgeball & Major Dodgeball categories), your team must win five tournaments in each region: North, West, South, Central, East in the same category within 12 months). Members must be 80% the same throughout all tournaments. This is a one-time cash prize of $200 (payable within 2 weeks of the last event) for the winner. 

 

General Rules:

• – MOF seeks to categorize teams as evenly as possible to provide a level playing field. Teams caught infringing our rules (by using players that are too strong) will be disqualified, cash prizes, medals & trophies be returned, as well as a penalty of $250 is payable to MOF. 
• – Once any team has been placed first or second in a tournament twice, that team can only play in the same MOF Dodgeball Tournament category for 12 months (starting from the date of its first podium win)
• – MOF reserves all right to change/reallocate a team to another division, especially for the years 2021 and 2022 as many teams are playing in MOF Dodgeball for the first time. 
• – in the event of rain or bad weather, the remainder of the tournament will be scheduled to a later date (note however: most of MOF Dodgeball tournaments are in fully sheltered arenas)
• – in the event of last minute venue unavailability, the event will be postponed to another date/time/(possibly venue). such situations generally do not occur, but we wish to highlight (just in case!)
• – in the event that a tournament kicks off less than full, prize money will be pro-rated

Classification of different levels

Our Super Dodgeball Tournament has cash prizes/trophies/medals. Trophy & Cash prize of $250 (payable within 2 weeks of event) for the winner. Medals for all registered members for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placing. This is our most competitive tournament.  This is open to all teams, of all age groups, and is suitable for podium winners for MOF Major Dodgeball or other dodgeball competitions in Singapore.

 

Our Major Dodgeball Tournament has cash prizes/trophies/medals. Trophy & Cash prize of $225 (payable within 2 weeks of event) for the winner. Medals for all registered members for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placing. This is our second most competitive tournament.  This is open to all teams, of all age groups, except those teams where at least 30% of their members (rounded upwards) have been awarded a podium standing (1st, 2nd or 3rd) in any MOF Super Dodgeball or other dodgeball tournaments (MOF reserves the right to decide). In other words, if you are MOF Super Dodgeball Tournament level, you should not be playing in MOF Major Dodgeball Tournament! 

 

Our Minor Dodgeball Tournament has cash prizes/trophies/medals. Trophy & Cash prize of $200 (payable within 2 weeks of event) for the winner. Medals for all registered members for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placing. This is our third most competitive tournament and is ideal for teams that play somewhat regularly.  This is open to all teams, of all age groups, except those teams where at least 30% of their members (rounded upwards) have been awarded a podium standing (1st, 2nd or 3rd) in any MOF Super Dodgeball, MOF Major Dodgeball or other dodgeball tournaments (MOF reserves the right to decide). In other words, if you are MOF Super Dodgeball or MOF Major Dodgeball Tournament level, you should not be playing in MOF Minor Dodgeball Tournament! 

 

Our Leisure  Dodgeball Tournament has cash prizes/trophies/medals. Trophy & Cash prize of $100 (payable within 2 weeks of event) for the winner. Medals for all registered members for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placing. This is our third most competitive tournament and is ideal for teams that play somewhat regularly.  This is open to all teams, of all age groups, except those teams where at least 30% of their members (rounded upwards) have been awarded a podium standing (1st, 2nd or 3rd) in any MOF Super Dodgeball, MOF Major Dodgeball, MOF Minor Dodgeball or other dodgeball tournaments (MOF reserves the right to decide). In other words, if you are MOF Super Dodgeball or MOF Major Dodgeball or MOF Minor Dodgeball Tournament level, you should not be playing in MOF Leisure Dodgeball Tournament! 

 

Our U16  Dodgeball Tournament has cash prizes/trophies/medals. Trophy & Cash prize of $100 (payable within 2 weeks of event) for the winner. Medals for all registered members for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placing. This is open to all teams and players whose age is under 16 years as of 1st January of that year the competition is held in. No professional, semi-professional, national-representing players (or whose contract ended less than 6 months ago) are allowed to play in this tournament.
